On the afternoon of February 20, a mobilization meeting for the Taiyuan University of Technology men’s basketball team was held in the training gym conference room at Huyu Campus before their participation in the 27th CUBAL Northwest Division competition. Wang Zhihua, a member of the University Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President, and Liu Runxiang, the general leader of the university basketball team, attended the meeting. Also present were the party and administrative leaders of the School of Physical Education, the coaching staff of the basketball team, all team members, and relevant staff.
At the meeting, Wang Zhihua first affirmed the past achievements and honors of the basketball team. He emphasized that the team should strategically approach opponents with confidence while tactically preparing for them with utmost seriousness, striving to become a Taiyuan University of Technology men’s basketball team characterized by "courage, vitality, and dominance." He encouraged the players to stay firm in their confidence, give their full effort, and aim for outstanding results in the competition to bring honor to the university.
