From March 1st to 2nd, the 2025 CBA All-Star Weekend was held in Changchun, Jilin. Upon invitation from the Chinese Athletic Association, during this CBA All-Star Weekend, our university's men's basketball team coach Yang Wenhai served as the head coach of the College All-Star Team. Our university's basketball players Du Zhibo and Cao Zhihao joined forces with players from Peking University, Ningbo University, and other institutions to form the College All-Star Team. On the evening of March 1st, in the game between the College All-Star Team and the Rising Stars Sophomore Team, the College All-Star Team delivered an outstanding performance, defeating the Rising Stars Sophomore Team 88-78.
During the game, Coach Yang Wenhai demonstrated exceptional strategic planning, playing a crucial role in the team's tactical arrangements and team cohesion. The two players, Du Zhibo and Cao Zhihao, shone brightly on the court with their remarkable performances, fully showcasing the competitive spirit of CUBAL college players. This marked another highlight moment for the two players on the professional stage, following their achievement of leading the team to the CUBAL league runner-up position in 2024.
