From June 20 to 29, the 2024-2025 National Youth Campus Football League University Men's Group A National Finals were passionately held at Shandong Weifang Luneng Football School. Twenty-nine top university football teams from across the country gathered here for a series of intense clashes of the titans. Our university's men's football team, with its tenacious fighting spirit, superb skills, and teamwork, advanced through the competition and ultimately secured third place, bringing honor to the university.
In the semifinals, our team faced the defending champions, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Despite the players' relentless efforts, they unfortunately lost 1:4 and failed to advance to the finals. However, the team quickly adjusted their mindset and prepared actively for the next challenge. On June 29, in the third-place match against Jiaying University, our men's football team displayed a renewed spirit, fully committed and well-organized in both offense and defense. Through tight team defense and efficient attacking plays, they ultimately defeated the opponent 1:0 with a goal from Zhang Ruifeng, locking in the third-place victory nationwide.
